The official Saudi Arabian app for COVID-19 related services and curfew passes: Tawakkalna

Tawakkalna, developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), is the Kingdom's official app for managing emergencies and safeguarding public health. It played a crucial role in controlling the spread of COVID-19.

Initially, Tawakkalna focused on facilitating relief efforts by digitally issuing curfew permits for both public and private sector employees, and citizens. This helped significantly in limiting COVID-19 transmission.

During the "Return with Caution" phase, the app introduced key services to ensure a safe return to normalcy. A prominent feature was the implementation of color-coded health status indicators for users, prioritizing security and privacy.
