• Story

Our tale begins in a forest near a village of Riders. Three young friends—the hero, Lilia, and Cheval—discover a radiant egg.

In a playful moment, the trio mimics the sacred Rite of Kinship. To their astonishment, the ritual actually works!

The egg hatches, revealing a baby Rathalos, a winged wyvern renowned as "the King of the Skies." They lovingly name him "Ratha" and bring him home to their village.

Days later, disaster strikes. A monster corrupted by the "Black Blight" attacks the village without warning. Although driven off, it leaves the town in ruins and carves painful memories into the hearts of Cheval and Lilia.

One year passes...

The hero receives a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief, officially becoming a Rider. Cheval and Lilia depart, each following their own destiny. Now parted from childhood friends, the hero teams up with the cheerful Navirou and sets out on a grand new adventure into the world of hunters.

A story of friendship and triumph awaits—ride forth into the world of Monster Hunter Stories!

Due to changes in Google Play Games, the Network Battle function was discontinued as of March 31, 2020. However, after updating to Ver.1.0.2, all Titles earned from Battle Ranks became accessible.
