StopotS is a popular categories game, also known as Scattergories, "City Country River," or simply Stop.
The game starts by selecting categories – for example, Names, Animals, Objects, and so on. Once chosen, a random letter is revealed, initiating a new round. Players must fill each category with a word beginning with that letter. The first player to complete all categories shouts "STOP!" The game then pauses for remaining players, who must immediately submit their answers. Players collaboratively review answers, awarding 10 points for unique correct answers, 5 points for repeated answers, and 0 points for incorrect answers. This continues for a set number of rounds.
