Arcane skins are unlikely to return to Fortnite
Fortnite's cosmetic items are highly sought after, with players eager to showcase their favorite skins. Epic Games' rotating store model, while offering variety, often results in lengthy wait times for specific outfits. While some, like Master Chief (after a two-year absence), eventually reappear, others remain elusive.
This is particularly true for the Jinx and Vi skins from Arcane. Despite fervent player demand—especially after the second season—a Riot Games co-founder, Marc Merrill, offered a pessimistic outlook during a recent stream. While acknowledging the decision rests with Riot, he indicated the collaboration was limited to the first season. Though Merrill later suggested he'd discuss the possibility of a return, no guarantees were given.
The likelihood of these skins returning remains low. While Riot would undoubtedly profit from renewed sales, allowing their intellectual property to potentially draw players away from League of Legends—currently facing challenges—presents a significant risk.
Therefore, while future circumstances might change, it's advisable to temper expectations regarding the return of the Jinx and Vi Fortnite skins.
