育碧在其官方X（推特）账号和脸书页面上发布声明称：“我们每周都从社区获得宝贵的反馈。虽然我们已经取得了显著进展，但我们认为还需要几周时间来整合这些反馈，确保在游戏发售之日提供更具野心和吸引力的体验。”
育碧首席执行官Yves Guillemot在一份新闻稿中补充道：“我们全力支持我们的团队努力创造该系列中最具雄心的《刺客信条》作品，并决定额外增加一个月的开发时间，以便更好地整合过去三个月收集的玩家反馈。这将使我们能够充分发挥游戏的潜力，并在年底强势收官。”
