Cosy Feline Puzzler Quilts and Cats of Calico Is Coming to Android Soon!
Get ready to snuggle into a world of cozy fabrics, adorable cats, and strategic quilting! Quilts and Cats of Calico, the charming board game-inspired puzzler from Monster Couch and Flatout Games, is purrfectly poised for its mobile debut.
Launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One February 11th, the mobile version (Android and iOS) follows closely on March 11th. The game initially charmed PC players in March 2024, with a Nintendo Switch release arriving in December.
What's Quilts and Cats of Calico All About?
Inspired by the whimsical charm of Studio Ghibli animations, Quilts and Cats of Calico boasts soothing visuals that are instantly inviting. Gameplay centers around crafting the perfect quilt by cleverly matching patterns and colors.
Ascend the quilting hierarchy, but beware—a rival quilter has some rather ambitious plans involving both humans and cats! Strategic design is key to impressing the most important critics: the cats themselves!
Each feline friend has unique tastes, so your creations must be purr-fectly pleasing to earn their approval (and a prime spot on your quilt!). Interact with these adorable creatures—pet them, watch them play, or gently shoo them away when they decide your quilt is their new nap zone.
Customize your own feline companions, choosing everything from fur color to fashionable outfits. A diverse selection of in-game cats awaits! See the game in action here:
Is it the Same as the Board Game?
While inspired by the board game Calico, Quilts and Cats of Calico isn't a direct digital port. The game introduces new twists, including a campaign mode with rule variations, fresh mechanics, and a captivating new setting.
Enjoy cross-platform multiplayer with ranked matches, weekly challenges, and leaderboards. For solo players, AI opponents offer varying difficulty levels.
