Due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Critical Role has postponed this week's episode of Campaign 3. The impact on the cast, crew, and community has necessitated this delay. While a return on January 16th is hoped for, further postponements remain a possibility.

Campaign 3 is nearing its thrilling conclusion, with the recent episode ending on a significant cliffhanger. The exact number of remaining episodes is yet to be determined, but the end of this campaign is imminent, potentially paving the way for a new campaign using the Daggerheart TTRPG system.

The January 9th episode was canceled due to the emergency situation. Several cast and crew members were directly affected; Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray evacuated with their pet, Dani Carr was near the fires but safe, and Kyle Shire unfortunately lost his home. Other cast members have shared updates confirming their safety.

While a return to streaming on Beacon and Twitch is planned for January 16th, further delays are understandable given the ongoing situation. The Critical Role community is urged to be patient and offer support to those affected.

In line with their commitment to community, the Critical Role Foundation is donating $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. This demonstrates the show's dedication to its motto: "Don't forget to love each other."
