The New Denpa Men Lands on Android with Quirky Features Customized for Mobile
The New Denpa Men has now made its way to Android devices, following its initial release on the Nintendo Switch in July 2024. Developed and published by Genius Sonority, this quirky RPG brings a few unique features to its mobile version, setting it apart from its console counterpart.
Now You Can Take Your Quirky Little Denpa Crew on the Go!
One of the most exciting aspects of The New Denpa Men on Android is its support for cross-platform play. If you've already delved into the world of catching and battling Denpa Men on the Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress to continue your adventure on your mobile device.
The mobile version introduces a new feature called QR Catch, which allows you to scan nearby QR codes to add Denpa Men to your team, replacing the Normal Catch method used on the Switch. However, some features available on the Switch, such as Together Catch and Offline Catch, are not included in the mobile version.
Another exciting addition to the Android version is the Voucher Collection system. After battles, monsters drop vouchers, known as Akashi, at random. Collecting these vouchers helps you complete your collection, and they can be gifted to friends or used strategically in battles.
There's also a new twist with scarecrows in the mobile version. You can summon monsters using scarecrows, and these summoned creatures will join your party, fighting enemies and providing healing support. Check out the trailer below to see these features in action.
Will You Catch The New Denpa Men on Android?
In The New Denpa Men, you'll encounter strange little creatures known as Denpa Men, floating invisibly in the airwaves. Your mission is to catch them, train them, and embark on exciting adventures. The game offers a mix of dungeon-crawling, island decoration, interaction with your Denpa Men, fishing, and exploration of various event-based and extra stages that evolve over time.
You can download The New Denpa Men from the Google Play Store. The game is primarily controlled via touchscreen, but you also have the option to use a controller for a more console-like experience.
