Fortnite's new "Reload" mode brings back classic maps with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map featuring iconic locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row.

What Makes Reload Mode Unique?

In Reload, squad wipes mean game over—no second chances. But as long as one teammate remains, your squad can fight back! This applies to both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes. The mode features a compact island, no drivable vehicles, and a mix of unvaulted weapons, including fan favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, and Rocket Launcher.

Victory Crowns are still up for grabs. Rebooted players return with a common Assault Rifle (and building materials in Build mode). A Reboot Timer adds to the tension, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40, but can be reduced by eliminating opponents. Downed players can choose to immediately start their reboot.

Elimination and Rewards

Eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), keeping the action intense. Completing introductory quests offers substantial XP rewards:

• Three quests: Digital Dogfight Contrail
• Six quests: Pool Cubes Wrap
• Nine quests: NaNa Bath Back Bling
• Victory Royale: The Rezzbrella Glider
