NieR: Automata - Where To Get The Virtuous Treaty
Quick Links
NieR: Automata's opening introduces 2B's mission, granting access to a one-handed and a powerful two-handed sword, the Virtuous Treaty, after the initial melee combat. This weapon is temporarily lost after the prologue but easily recoverable.
Where To Find the Virtuous Treaty in NieR: Automata
This early-game weapon is located near your starting point after leaving the bunker. In the city ruins, descend to the lower area. To the left, locate the highway above the nearest access point. Climb the ruins to reach the highway. Following the highway leads back towards the factory.
Jump down to the factory and follow the grassy path to the main structure. An access point and stairs to an upper area are on the left. On the left side of this upper area, near the destroyed bridge where you fought the Goliath, you'll find the Virtuous Treaty embedded in the ground.
Your old body, containing your prologue consumables, is just to the right of the sword.
Virtuous Treaty Stats in NieR: Automata
- Attack Power: 300-330
- Combo: Light 2, Heavy 2
This two-handed sword delivers powerful, wide-sweeping attacks, effective against groups. However, it has a slow attack speed. Upgrades can make it one of the game's highest damage weapons, despite its slow speed. Combining it with a faster weapon via a heavy attack during a combo mitigates the slow speed while still leveraging its high damage output.
