Switch Between You And Your Shadow To Defeat Enemies In New Retro-Style Platformer Shadow Trick
Neutronized, the studio behind this year's Shovel Pirate, and other charming titles like Slime Labs 3, Super Cat Tales, and Yokai Dungeon: Monster Games, has unleashed its latest creation: Shadow Trick. This new platformer retains Neutronized's signature style: short, sweet, simple, and fun. Its 16-bit pixel art gives it a delightful retro vibe, and best of all, it's free to play.
What Awaits You in *Shadow Trick*?
As the title suggests, you play as a wizard with the unique ability to transform into a shadow. This clever mechanic is the core of the gameplay. You'll constantly switch between your physical and shadow forms to solve puzzles, bypass traps, and outwit enemies.
Shadow Trick unfolds within a magical castle, teeming with diverse biomes, hidden perils, and challenging bosses. Across 24 levels, you'll hunt for three moon crystals per level, essential for unlocking the game's complete ending. Mastering the game requires precision; defeating bosses without taking damage is crucial for collecting all 72 crystals. Be warned, some bosses, like the mischievous red ghost (which can reappear after seemingly vanishing!), will test your skills.
The game's environments are varied and imaginative. You'll explore diverse settings, including aquatic levels where you'll navigate as a shadow, encountering bizarre and memorable fish bosses.
Ready to Give it a Try?
Shadow Trick boasts impressive visuals, particularly if you appreciate retro pixel art. The environments are beautifully rendered, complemented by catchy chiptune music. If this sounds appealing, head over to the Google Play Store and download it today!
