Belangrijke opmerking: Dit is een bètaversie van Krita 5.2.3 (laatst bijgewerkt op 25 juni 2024), en hoewel deze rijk is aan functies, wordt deze nog niet aanbevolen voor professioneel productiewerk. De huidige interface is geoptimaliseerd voor grotere schermen (tablets en Chromebooks) en een mobiele versie is nog niet beschikbaar.
Krita is ontwikkeld door de Krita Foundation en Halla Rempt Software, en maakt deel uit van de KDE-gemeenschap.
