Running from August 16 to August 18, 2024, the Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 brings an array of special rewards and Twitch drops throughout the event weekend, including up to three redeemable codes. Alongside the global celebrations and Honolulu-based activities, trainers everywhere can earn in-game rewards by watching the official Twitch livestream.

How to Earn Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 Twitch Drops

To earn exclusive Twitch Drops, simply watch 30 minutes of the Pokémon GO livestream on Twitch during the World Championships—anytime on Day 1, 2, or 3. Make sure your Twitch account is linked to your Pokémon Trainer Club account. Keep in mind that minimizing the stream window pauses the Drop progress timer.

How to Claim Your Twitch Drops

After watching 30 minutes of the stream, a pop-up in the Twitch chat will notify you that your reward is ready. Claim it via the Twitch Drops Inventory Page or find your codes on the View Inventory page at rewards.pokemon.com. All codes expire on August 26, 2024, at 11:59 PM UTC.

Exclusive Rewards

You can earn up to two codes during the event—one per livestream day. A third code is available for viewers of official Pokémon GO co-streams featuring the World Championships, running from August 16 at 9:00 AM HST to August 19 at 12:00 AM HST. Redeem these codes for exclusive Timed Research with unique rewards:

Day 1 Rewards

Redeeming the Day 1 livestream code unlocks exclusive Timed Research with these rewards:

• An encounter with Sableye* that knows Shadow Claw (Fast Attack) and Foul Play (Charged Attack)
• An Elite Charged TM
• Sableye caught during this period will know Shadow Claw (Fast Attack) and Foul Play (Charged Attack)
• One bonus Candy XL for trainers level 31 and above completing three-star Shadow Raids. (Shadow Sableye may appear in these raids during the Honolulu 2024 Pokémon World Championships!)

Day 2 Rewards

On Day 2, redeeming the livestream code unlocks Timed Research centered on building a competitive Great League team. Choose from three team options, each featuring different Pokémon:
