Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of titles for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, featuring a mix of new and classic games that cater to a wide range of gaming preferences. The announcement, detailed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post, highlights six new games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, set to be available starting May 20, 2025.

For those subscribed to the Extra tier, there are nine new titles to explore. The spotlight is on "Sand Land," an action RPG based on the beloved manga by Akira Toriyama, available on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include "Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition" and the comprehensive "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy." The latter's Enhanced Edition, announced for PS5 alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S, will also launch on May 20. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain whether this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Premium members will have access to a classic title, "Battle Engine Aquila," playable on both PS4 and PS5. This sci-fi action game offers players the chance to pilot a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in both aerial and ground combat.
