Lil Gator Game's "game-sized" DLC, In The Dark, is on the horizon, promising a subterranean adventure on par with the original island exploration. This expansion, from MegaWobble and Playtonic Games, will delight fans of the charming 3D platformer.

The original Lil Gator Game, released over two years ago, captivated players with its whimsical blend of Zelda aesthetics and Yakuza-inspired absurdity, earning a remarkable 99% positive rating on Steam. In The Dark continues this legacy, introducing a sprawling underground world filled with mysterious caves.

A new trailer showcases Lil Gator utilizing diverse traversal methods in this new environment, including mine carts, gliding, and impressive climbing feats. The expansion also introduces new weaponry, such as a mining pick and a twirling staff, and a colorful cast of new companions: a mischievous pig, a nonchalant lizard, a stylish bear, and an extravagant bat.

While a release date remains unannounced ("when it's ready"), the developers assure fans of forthcoming updates via social media. Get ready for another dose of Lil Gator's captivating adventures!
