AEW Meets Trailer Park Boys in New East Side Games Crossover
When it comes to wrestling, few countries have produced as many icons of the sport as Canada. Bret Hart, Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and even Ivan Koloff (yep, not a real Russian, sorry) are up there as icons of wrestling, both new and old. So it's little surprise that Omega and Jericho also take center stage in East Side Games' AEW: Rise to the Top.
Conversely, the trio of Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles from the Canadian mockumentary Trailer Park Boys are perhaps icons in a more infamous sense. Despite this, they have their own mobile release with Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money. These notorious characters are set to team up with the aforementioned AEW stars as East Side Games' hit adaptations of these two franchises cross over!
Starting March 27th, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega will make an appearance at Sunnyvale Trailer Park for an SVW wrestling show where nothing could possibly go awry. Meanwhile, AEW: Rise to the Top will see Bubbles once more don the cape and mask of The Green Bastard as the boys attempt to crash an AEW event.
From the top rope! Whatever you can say about the quality of East Side Games' catalogue, it's undeniable that they've leveraged the huge variety of franchises they develop mobile releases for in order to have some truly crazy crossovers. Be that the most recent Trailer Park Boys and Cheech & Chong crossover, or the upcoming AEW collaboration.
But if you're interested, you won't have long to give it a go! The event is live from March 27th to March 31st, so you'll need to be at least level 6 in both games to unlock exclusive content and enjoy the action.
