NetEase Games and Naked Rain's highly anticipated Project Mugen has officially been unveiled as Ananta, a vibrant urban open-world RPG. A new PV and teaser trailer showcase the game's stunning visuals, dynamic gameplay, and intriguing story.

The trailer offers a closer look at Nova City, the sprawling metropolis serving as Ananta's setting. Players will encounter a diverse cast of characters and face the looming threat of chaotic forces from another realm.

While comparisons to MiHoYo's successful titles like Zenless Zone Zero are inevitable, Ananta distinguishes itself, particularly in its fluid and impressive movement mechanics. The game promises a blend of charming characters and exhilarating combat, a popular formula in today's 3D RPG landscape.

The PV highlights impressive character movement, raising questions about the scope of exploration. Will traversal be limited to specific areas, or will players enjoy truly expansive, Spider-Man-style freedom across Nova City?

While Ananta shares similarities with other popular 3D gacha RPGs, its unique features and potential set it apart. The ultimate test will be whether Ananta can carve its own niche and possibly challenge the current leaders in the genre.
