HoYoVerse's parent company, MiHoYo, has been busy lately, and their upcoming game, originally titled Astaweave Haven, has undergone a significant change: a name change to Petit Planet. Even before a proper reveal, the game is evolving. Let's hope it's for the better!

Fans of gacha games or RPGs may have already encountered the name Astaweave Haven. However, official details from MiHoYo have been scarce. What we do know suggests a departure from HoYoVerse's typical open-world gacha adventures.

Instead of another gacha RPG, Astaweave Haven—now Petit Planet—appears to be a life simulation or management game, reminiscent of titles like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley. This leads us to the exciting news: the name change!

The new name, Petit Planet, is a welcome shift. It's more charming and hints at the management sim genre, clearly differentiating it from MiHoYo's established gacha RPGs.

Release Date?

The game's development continues, with no official release date. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile releases in July. HoYoVerse registered Petit Planet on October 31st, and the new name awaits US and UK approval.

Given MiHoYo/HoYoVerse's track record of consistent releases (e.g., Zenless Zone Zero following Honkai: Star Rail), we can anticipate a swift launch once the name is approved. Hopefully, we'll soon see Petit Planet in action!
