Anime Vanguards Unveils Lobby Refresh and Portals Mode in Major Update
Anime Vanguards' Winter Update 3.0: A Festive Overhaul
Roblox developer Kitawari has unleashed Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0, bringing a blizzard of changes to this popular tower defense game. The update boasts a revamped lobby, a host of new units, exciting new game modes, and numerous quality-of-life improvements designed to keep players engaged throughout the winter season.
The most striking change is the completely redesigned lobby, offering significantly more space and a much-improved user interface (UI), particularly for stage selection. Kitawari explains in the patch notes that the previous lobby was too cramped, hindering the addition of new game modes. The new lobby is described as "10x more impressive," and even features a customizable day/night cycle accessible in the settings.
Key additions in Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0 include:
- New Game Modes: "Portals," a mode encouraging the use of winter units and skins for enhanced rewards, and "Sandbox Mode," allowing players to experiment freely with strategies.
- 12 New Units: These are scattered across a new Winter Banner, the Portals game mode, the battle pass, and leaderboard rewards. Specific units include Emmie (and her Ice Witch variant), Rom and Ran, Foboko, Karem, Rogita, Soburo, Regnaw, Dodara, Sosora, Seban, Rodock, and Giyu.
- New Rewards: The Portals mode offers unique rewards, including three new familiars (Doggo, Sebamon, and Padoru), winter currency, and gift boxes.
- Quality-of-Life Improvements: These include smoother unit placement, improved UI for skins and familiars (with added search bars), clearer unit targeting indicators, and the relocation of Evolution Quests to a dedicated tab.
The update builds on the momentum of a recent November update inspired by the anime Dandadan. For more information, including active codes, check out this link. Below are the full patch notes:
