When Is Applin Debuting in Pokémon GO?

Mark your calendars for the Sweet Discoveries event, kicking off on April 24th at 10:00 a.m. and wrapping up on April 29th at 8:00 p.m. This is when Applin, a Grass and Dragon-type Pokémon from the Galar region, makes its grand entrance into Pokémon GO. To evolve Applin into Flapple, you'll need 200 Applin Candies and 20 Tart Apples. Alternatively, to evolve it into Appletun, gather 200 candies and 20 Sweet Apples. For its final evolution to Dipplin and then to Hydrapple, keep those candies coming.

The evolution process involves Tart and Sweet Apples, which you can find in the wild during the event. Tapping on them might reward you with a Tart Apple, a Sweet Apple, or even Applin itself. To increase your chances of encountering these Apples, use Mossy Lure Modules.

Applin is quite unique, spending its entire life inside an apple. This clever disguise helps it hide from bird Pokémon, its natural predators, by blending in as just another piece of fruit. With its adorable appearance, Applin is sure to become a fan favorite in Pokémon GO.
