New Assassin's Creed Shadows Trailer Showcases PC Version Features
Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed Shadows trailer showcases enhanced PC features. The trailer highlights support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ultra-wide monitor compatibility, ray tracing effects (RTGI and RT Reflections), and extensive settings optimized for lower-end hardware. A built-in benchmark tool is also included for performance testing.
Minimum PC specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end requirements for 4K 60FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing demand an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, and an RTX 4090 (24GB) GPU.
Ubisoft partnered with Intel for optimization, promising strong performance on Intel processors. Post-launch assessments will determine AMD system performance. The focus is on addressing stuttering issues that plagued previous Assassin's Creed titles; Mirage demonstrated significant improvements over Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla in this area.
Assassin's Creed Shadows launches March 20th on PC and consoles.
