Assassin's Creed Shadows Early Access Cancelled

Assassin's Creed Shadows: No More Early Access

Originally planned for early access release with the Collector's Edition, Ubisoft has canceled this feature for Assassin's Creed Shadows. This decision follows the game's previously announced delay to February 14, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Collector's Edition price has also been reduced from $280 to $230, still including the artbook, steelbook, figurine, and other announced items. Season passes have also been scrapped. Unconfirmed reports suggest Ubisoft Quebec is exploring the addition of a co-op mode featuring both antagonists, Naoe and Yasuke, but this remains unverified. Insider Gaming attributes the early access cancellation and delay to challenges in maintaining historical accuracy and cultural representation, along with the need for additional polish.
