Ubisoft has officially announced the global release times for the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed Shadows. In a departure from the usual practice, this game will have a unified release date across all platforms, with no option for early access through additional payment.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S at 12am local time on March 20. However, PC players should note that the release times differ depending on the platform. If you're playing via Steam, the game will be available at different times across various time zones, starting from 9pm PDT on March 19 in Los Angeles. For those using Ubisoft's own platform, Ubi Connect, the release times also vary, beginning at 9pm PDT on March 19 in Los Angeles.

Pre-loading is already available for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC, ensuring that fans can jump right into the action as soon as the game goes live.

The stakes are high for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, as Ubisoft faces significant pressure following a series of delays and the underwhelming sales of last year's Star Wars Outlaws. The company has also experienced several high-profile setbacks, including flops, layoffs, studio closures, and game cancellations leading up to this release.
