"Astro Bot: Unveiling All Secret Galaxy Portal Locations"
In *Astro Bot*, players can access ten unique worlds within the secret Lost Galaxy, but these can only be reached by discovering hidden portals scattered across ten different levels. Here's a comprehensive guide to help you locate these portals and unlock the exciting content within the Lost Galaxy.
Where Are the Portal Locations to the Lost Galaxy in Astro Bot?
As you navigate through *Astro Bot*, you'll notice some stages marked with a distinctive swirly icon alongside the count of bots and puzzle pieces. This icon indicates the presence of a hidden portal to the Lost Galaxy within that stage. These portals can be tucked away early in a level or right at the end, so staying vigilant is key. For those who prefer a direct approach, this guide outlines the exact locations and methods to access each portal.
Hidden Portal #1: Az-Tech Trail
Midway through the level, you'll encounter a dark room with a wall surrounded by four lit torches. Use the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish the flames, and the wall will reveal the portal behind it.
Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon
Early in the level, you'll find a snowy arena with a bouncing ladybug. Move past it to encounter a charging pig. Grab the pig and swing it towards the edge of your platform, targeting an icy statue. After destroying the statue, backtrack, flip the ladybug, and bounce to a new platform. A charged spin attack here will lead you to the secret portal.
Hidden Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago
After defeating Captain Pincher, turn to locate his claw embedded in the ground. A glowing light near it signals the spot for a charged spin attack. Drilling into the ground will open a hidden room containing the portal.
Hidden Portal #4: Downsize Surprise
Near the level's end, you'll meet a frog that blows bubbles. Blow into your controller to activate the frog, then shrink and ride a bubble to a branch above the bot. Navigate to the opposite branch to discover the next secret portal.
Hidden Portal #5: Free Big Brother!
This portal is among the easiest to find. Right at the start of the level, turn around to see platforms with an electric enemy. Swim to it and trigger the enemy to electrocute the platforms, revealing the hidden portal behind the wall.
Hidden Portal #6: Bathhouse Battle
Mid-level, locate a house with a flaming chimney. After absorbing water, climb to the roof and douse the flames. Descend through the chimney to find the secret portal in the room below.
Hidden Portal #7: Hieiroglitch Pyramid
At the level's conclusion, turn right to see an area with falling jewels. Use the bounce pad to access a hidden area. Before reaching the portal, you'll trigger a trap. Locate and activate the hidden switches on two walls to clear the path to the portal.
Hidden Portal #8: Balloon Breeze
Arguably the most complex portal to find, you'll need the puffer-fish power-up. Backtrack to an early area with a distant platform and a bouncing ladybug. Flip the ladybug, bounce on it, and use the puffer-fish power-up to reach the platform. Use motion controls to clear the bamboo surrounding the portal, then run around its perimeter to activate it.
Hidden Portal #9: Djinny of the Lamp
After defeating Djinny and reaching the goal, climb the ruins. The glowing ground indicates invisible platforms. Hover over them to reach an elevated platform, unfurl the rug, and ride it to another platform where the secret portal awaits.
Hidden Portal #10: Frozen Meal
Before battling the boss, roll a snowball into a massive ball. Use it as a platform to reach the area along the cliff, leading to the final secret portal in *Astro Bot*.
With these detailed instructions, you're now equipped to uncover all the secret portal locations in *Astro Bot* and explore the wonders of the Lost Galaxy. For more gameplay tips, check out our walkthrough guides and learn how to unlock hidden trophies.
