Two years after its initial launch in 2023, *Atomic Heart* has reached a major milestone with over 10 million players worldwide. While this figure reflects unique player accounts rather than total sales, it still marks a significant success for the game and its developer, Mundfish.

Available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms, *Atomic Heart* made a powerful debut as a AAA title from a previously unknown studio. According to Mundfish, the game "took the world by surprise as a breakout AAA debut," raising the standard for visual and cinematic excellence in first-person shooter (FPS) games. It also received more than 60 Game of the Year awards, affirming its impact on the industry. Following its success, the team released three story-driven DLC expansions, with a fourth currently in development.

Play*Atomic Heart* launched in February 2023 as a first-person action shooter set in an alternate reality during the peak of the Soviet Union. The game impressed many with its richly imaginative atompunk aesthetic, drawing comparisons to iconic titles like *BioShock*. Our review awarded it an 8 out of 10, stating: “Atomic Heart is a highly imaginative, atompunk-inspired attempt at picking up where the likes of BioShock left off that makes missteps but definitely has the ticker to punch well above its weight.”

Building on this momentum, Mundfish is now launching a new initiative called **Mundfish Powerhouse**, aimed at helping developers and investors bring high-quality, standout games to market. This move signals the studio’s ambition to not only continue evolving its own projects but also support innovation across the broader gaming landscape.
