Avowed Attributes: Worst to Best Ranking
When creating and leveling up your character in *Avowed*, Attributes are the cornerstone of your build, each offering unique boosts that cater to different play styles. Here's a comprehensive ranking of the 6 *Avowed* Attributes from least to most beneficial, helping you make informed decisions as you navigate the Living Lands.
Every Attribute in Avowed
*Avowed* features six main Attributes, each with distinct effects:
- Might: Enhances your character's physical and spiritual strength, boosting damage from all sources and increasing Carry Capacity. High Might can unlock exclusive dialogue options, allowing you to intimidate enemies or de-escalate conflicts.
- Constitution: Boosts overall health and endurance, increasing Maximum Health and resistance to Poisoned and Bleeding statuses. It can also unlock dialogue options, enhancing your character's resilience in combat.
- Dexterity: Improves Attack Speed for weapons and abilities, as well as Action Speed for equipping items, using consumables, and parkour. It also enhances Reload Speed, making you more agile and increasing your overall mobility.
- Perception: Increases Critical Hit Chance and Maximum Range for ranged weapons like wands, guns, and bows. It can unlock additional dialogue options, though these typically have minimal impact on gameplay.
- Intellect: Raises Maximum Essence and resistance to Ignited, Shocked, and Frozen statuses. It's particularly beneficial for wizards and spellcasters, and can unlock additional dialogue options.
- Resolve: Enhances Maximum Stamina and the efficiency of Second Wind, ideal for heavy weapon users and tank builds. It can also unlock dialogue options similar to those of Constitution.
Best Avowed Attributes, Ranked
While each Attribute supports specific builds, some are universally beneficial. Here's our ranking to guide you in allocating your Attribute Points as you level up:
6. Perception
Perception is highly specialized in *Avowed*, enhancing Critical Hit Chance and Maximum Range for ranged weapons. Although beneficial in certain scenarios, the game's frequent close-quarters combat limits its overall utility. Consider investing a few points in Perception for specific encounters, and perhaps respec your character to focus on it when needed.
5. Resolve
Resolve boosts Maximum Stamina, which is crucial for continuous combat actions. However, *Avowed* offers numerous armor items that can significantly increase Stamina, potentially making Resolve less essential. Second Wind, which allows you to recover from lethal damage, is improved by Resolve, but it's often more effective to focus on avoiding or tanking damage through other means.
4. Intellect
Intellect increases Maximum Essence and Elemental Resistance, making it invaluable in combat against elemental attacks. Even if your character isn't primarily a spellcaster, the additional Essence benefits a wide range of abilities, from Fighter to Godlike and Wizard Abilities, making Intellect a versatile choice.
3. Dexterity
Dexterity is a versatile Attribute that enhances attack and action speed, improving mobility, item use, and the speed of weapons and abilities. It's beneficial for all builds, as it increases agility and overall DPS, making it a solid investment for any play style.
2. Constitution
Constitution significantly boosts Maximum Health and resistance to Poison and Bleed damage, which are common and deadly in *Avowed*. Enhanced health and resistance keep you in the fight longer, making Constitution a top choice for survivability.
1. Might
Might stands out as the most impactful Attribute in *Avowed*. It increases damage from all sources, dramatically improving your DPS and effectiveness against both regular enemies and bosses. Additionally, Might enhances Carry Capacity, allowing you to carry more gear without becoming encumbered, which is crucial for loot management and selling items for Skeyt. This makes Might an essential Attribute for any build.
This ranking should help you strategically allocate your Attribute Points in *Avowed*, ensuring your character is optimized for the challenges ahead in the Living Lands.
