Baldur's Gate 3's Patch 8 Introduces New Subclasses
Baldur's Gate 3's highly anticipated Patch #8 is on the horizon, bringing with it cross-play functionality, a dedicated photo mode, and a whopping 12 new subclasses. Larian Studios recently unveiled a sneak peek at four of these subclasses in a video: the enchanting Bard, the colossal Barbarian, the death-dealing Cleric, and the celestial Druid.
While the official release date remains undisclosed, Larian is keeping the community engaged with a series of videos showcasing the new subclasses. This initial video is just Part 1 of a three-part series, leaving eight more subclasses to be revealed in subsequent trailers.
The ongoing stress test, initiated in January, has already given players a taste of Patch #8's features, including the much-requested photo mode. As the final major post-launch update, Patch #8 marks the culmination of a significant development phase, leaving players both excited and curious about the future of Baldur's Gate 3.
