In a tweet posted today, Bethesda teased the announcement set for 8am PT/11am ET, which will be streamed live on both YouTube and Twitch. Though the specifics remain under wraps, the prominent "IV" and a background reminiscent of iconic Oblivion artwork strongly hint at what's to come.

Rumors of an Oblivion remake have circulated for years, gaining traction with leaks in recent months. Initial whispers emerged from a 2020 Bethesda release schedule that surfaced during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, hinting at a remaster planned for fiscal year 2022. Despite the document's age and the missed release window suggesting a possible cancellation, further leaks in January of this year suggested a full-scale remake in development by Bethesda and Virtuos. The latest leaks, originating from Virtuos' website just last week, showcased images of the remake, adding significant credibility to the rumors.

Should these recent leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered is set to launch on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Fans can also look forward to a Deluxe Edition, which will include the much-discussed horse armor alongside the standard version.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for what is hopefully the official confirmation and additional details about this highly anticipated remaster.
