"Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Latest Rewards and Updates in Pokemon TCG Pocket"
The second part of the Blastoise Wonder Pick event in Pokemon TCG Pocket is now underway, bringing with it exciting new cosmetic rewards for eager players. The event shop has been updated to include a variety of Blastoise-themed items, such as a Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a Blue and Blastoise playmat. These new offerings are sure to delight fans of the iconic Pokemon. The second part of the event is scheduled to run until January 22, while the event shop will remain open until January 28, giving players ample time to collect all the available items.
Following a bustling holiday season where Pokemon TCG Pocket generously distributed Pack Hourglasses and free boosters to players simply for logging in, the game's events have taken a quieter turn. Many dedicated players have already completed their collections of cards from the Mythical Island booster packs and are now eagerly anticipating the next expansion, rumored to launch at the end of January. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses can be used in future expansions has led many players to start hoarding them in preparation.
In the meantime, the Blastoise Wonder Pick Event has been refreshed with new rewards, giving players yet another reason to log in daily. The event shop now boasts new Blastoise-themed cosmetics, including a Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a Blue and Blastoise playmat. Players with surplus event tickets can exchange them for up to 1,000 Shinedust, with each set of 50 Shinedust costing one event ticket. The second part of the event will run until January 22, while the event shop will be open until January 28.
Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Has New Rewards
The first part of the current Wonder Pick Event kicked off on January 6 and introduced two new promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander. While the gameplay mechanics of these cards remain the same as their standard counterparts, the promo versions boast unique artwork that adds a special touch to any collection. The rewards from the first part of the event, including a backdrop with trainer Blue and a cover showcasing Blue and Blastoise, are still available. Additionally, new missions were added that can be completed by participating in special Wonder Pick choices.
By completing these missions, players can earn Event Shop Tickets. Missions involve participating in the Wonder Pick and collecting Fire-type and Water-type cards. For those who haven't yet joined in, missions from both event parts are cumulative and can be completed simultaneously, making it easier to acquire all the shop items. The Bonus Pick also offers Event Shop Tickets as rewards, further facilitating the collection of all available items. Logging in daily is highly recommended for players aiming to collect all Pokemon TCG Pocket promo cards, especially since the trade feature reportedly won't allow trading of these limited cards.
