Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Set for January 28th

Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game, Botany Manor, have been rescheduled for a January 28th, 2025 launch. This delay, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, aimed to ensure a polished and optimal player experience.

Developed by Balloon Studios, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The game, lauded as one of the best puzzle games of 2024, offers a relaxing experience centered around cultivating magical plants in the English countryside.

While a new release date was promised in 2025, the official announcement on January 9th confirmed the January 28th launch. However, a PS Store page remains absent, meaning pre-orders aren't yet available.

The PlayStation version is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is unlikely to be offered.

Enhancing PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup

Botany Manor's strong critical reception (an 83 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) positions it perfectly to enrich the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its cozy atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and engaging exploration have garnered significant praise.

With the PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios' next project remains unannounced. January 28th also marks the PlayStation debut of other titles, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
