How Camo Challenge Tracking Works in Blacks Ops 6
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Simplifies Camo Challenge Tracking
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 introduces Camo Challenge Tracking, a significant quality-of-life improvement streamlining camo and calling card progression. This feature allows players to easily monitor their progress towards unlocking coveted camos like Dark Matter and Nebula.
The new system lets players manually select up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges to track simultaneously. Progress is readily accessible in-game, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu. The tracker also proactively notifies players of nearing completion for challenges, even those not actively tracked.
Tracking Challenges:
To add a challenge to the tracker, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation). This allows for real-time progress monitoring during matches. Even without manual selection, the tracker automatically highlights challenges close to completion. A comprehensive list of near-complete challenges is also viewable in the Daily Challenges section of the lobby.
Improved Camo Unlocking:
Season 2 also simplifies special camo unlocking. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. However, two special camos remain a prerequisite for mastery camos. This adjustment addresses player feedback regarding the overwhelming number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress.
Treyarch's implementation of Camo Challenge Tracking demonstrates responsiveness to player concerns, enhancing the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
