Capcom and Fortnite May Team Up for Devilish Crossover
Rumors of a Fortnite and Devil May Cry crossover are heating up, with several leakers suggesting a collaboration is imminent. While Fortnite leaks are common, and not all pan out, the persistence of this particular rumor, coupled with corroboration from multiple sources, is generating significant buzz.
The potential collaboration has been anticipated by fans for years. Given Fortnite's past partnerships with Capcom (including the Resident Evil crossover), a Devil May Cry addition seems plausible. Leakers like ShiinaBR, citing information from Loolo_WRLD and Wensoing, are fueling the speculation. Interestingly, XboxEra's Nick Baker initially mentioned this possibility in 2023, and his past accuracy with Fortnite leak predictions (Doom and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaborations) lends credibility to the current claims.
The timing of the crossover remains uncertain. Given the numerous anticipated additions to Fortnite in the coming weeks, some believe the Devil May Cry collaboration might launch after Chapter 6 Season 1.
Character selection is another point of discussion. Dante and Vergil, the most recognizable Devil May Cry characters, are the frontrunners. However, Fortnite's recent Cyberpunk 2077 crossover (featuring Female V, unexpectedly) suggests the developers might surprise fans. Following the pattern of offering male and female options in crossovers, and considering past Capcom collaborations, characters like Lady, Trish, Nico, Nero, or even V from Devil May Cry 5 could also be included.
The resurgence of this leak has heightened anticipation, and fans eagerly await official confirmation and further details.
