Carrion the Reverse Horror Game That Lets You Hunt, Consume and Evolve Drops on Mobile Soon!
Devolver Digital's impressive Android game library, featuring titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, and Reigns: Game of Thrones, is about to get even better. The chilling "reverse-horror" game, Carrion, is making its mobile debut on October 31st.
Initially released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, this mobile version promises the same terrifying experience.
What Awaits in Carrion Mobile?
Become the nightmare. In Carrion, you control a monstrous, amorphous red blob, wreaking havoc and consuming everything in its path. This "reverse-horror" concept flips the script; instead of surviving the terror, you are the terror.
Trapped within a high-security Relith Science research facility, this creature—The Monster—has escaped its containment. Scientists' attempts to control it through DNA manipulation have failed spectacularly. Now, fueled by vengeance, The Monster must escape, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
Explore the facility, consuming scientists, security guards, and anyone else who stands in your way. Crawl through vents, smash through doors, and unleash your tentacles to hunt. Carrion mobile faithfully recreates the PC version's blend of panic and destruction. Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, allowing you to breach barricades and grow in size.
Here's a sneak peek:

Fans of Metroidvania-style games will find much to appreciate in Carrion's compelling blend of exploration and progression. The pixel art style adds a surprisingly charming aesthetic to the gruesome gameplay.
Carrion mobile offers a free trial. Unlock the full game and its DLC with a single in-app purchase. Pre-register on the Google Play Store now, or download it directly on October 31st.
