Castle Duels: Tower Defense Drops Update 3.0 With A Lot Of Tweaks!
Castle Duels: Tower Defense has just rolled out its highly anticipated update 3.0, and it's now available worldwide after a soft launch in select regions back in June 2024. This update brings a slew of exciting features, challenges, and adventures to the game that fans have been eagerly waiting for.
What’s New In Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0?
The introduction of clans is one of the most significant additions in this update, offering players the opportunity to team up and collaborate like never before. With clans, you can engage in trading units, sending rewards to your entire clan, and purchasing items from the clan store. This feature unlocks when you reach Arena 2, allowing you to either join an existing clan or create your own.
For those keen on PvP action, Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0 introduces training battles, perfect for honing your skills before diving into more competitive play.
Another thrilling addition is the Clan Tournament, where clans of five compete to complete daily quests faster than their rivals. This feature becomes available once you reach Arena 5, and the clan that finishes first takes home the top prize.
And Some Faces Got Tweaks And Name Changes
In this update, several units have seen name changes and ability tweaks. Raphael is now known as Angel, Knight of Light has been renamed Risen, and Forestlord is now Woodbeard. Angel's role has shifted from boosting damage to a more focused support and healing role, restoring health to allies. Riding Hood has transformed into a long-range damage dealer.
The Golem, previously a versatile unit, now has a reduced ability range to better suit its melee warrior role. Fighter has also undergone a role change to Defense, with a new ability that repels opponents and reduces their damage output.
Visually, units like Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire have received updates to enhance their appearance as they progress through the merge ranks, making them more distinctive and appealing.
If you haven't yet experienced Castle Duels: Tower Defense, it's a unique blend of tower defense strategy with PvP gameplay and card-based units. Take a look at the game in action below and consider downloading it from the Google Play Store to see what the excitement is all about.
