Clash of Clans is set to roll out a monumental update in March 2025, responding to years of player feedback and introducing changes that promise to revolutionize the gameplay experience. This update marks one of the most significant shifts in the game's history, with several long-standing features being phased out.

No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!

Imagine launching back-to-back attacks without any wait times. With the upcoming update, training times for Troops, Spells, and Siege Machines are being eliminated, making battles more dynamic and fast-paced than ever before. Additionally, Hero recovery times are also being removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. These changes will apply to players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League will maintain its eight-battle limit per day for now.

This significant change is part of Supercell's ongoing effort to streamline the game by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training times further empowers players to enjoy uninterrupted gameplay.

Accompanying these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will be phased out, as they are no longer necessary. They will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining items in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

There’s a New Match Anytime System!

When there aren't enough real bases available for attack, the new Match Anytime system will come into play. This feature allows you to engage with snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These battles function just like normal ones, where you can earn loot and trophies, but the defender won’t lose anything. Previously used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, the Match Anytime system is now expanding to multiplayer battles.

With the potential for more battles per session, adjustments to Trophy Curves are necessary. The number of trophies earned from victories will be reduced to balance the increased attack frequency. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers will be standardized at 10 minutes for all players.
