Clash of Clans Overhaul: No More Troop Training Times
Clash of Clans, an iconic name in mobile gaming, is about to undergo a significant transformation that will change the way you play. Supercell has announced the complete removal of troop, spell, and siege unit training times, enabling players to deploy their armies almost instantly and dive into battles faster than ever before. This major overhaul comes on the heels of the elimination of training costs in 2022, marking a significant shift in the game's mechanics.
As of today, Training Potions and Training Treats will no longer be available through in-app purchases or chest rewards. You can still obtain them from the Trader and Gold Pass temporarily, but be sure to use them before the end of the month, as they will be converted to Gems.
To help you adapt to this new change, Supercell is introducing a feature called "Match Anytime." This allows you to attack a snapshot of another player's base when no real players are available. You'll earn rewards for these attacks, while the player whose base is used won't lose anything if defeated. This mechanic, already used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now become a standard feature.
Keep an eye out for additional changes, such as the new requirement of Elixirs or Dark Elixirs for Army Donations. For a comprehensive look at these updates and more, head over to the Supercell blog.
