"Clue Mobile Now Features 2016 Suspects"
Marmalade Game Studio has delighted fans of the classic murder-mystery game, Clue (also known as Cluedo), with the release of the 2016 Suspects Pack for its digital version. If you're a lover of this timeless game, you'll be thrilled to dive back into the mystery with iconic characters from the 2016 edition.
Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?
The pack features the beloved characters: Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This addition allows you to immerse yourself in any scenario you choose, without being bound to a specific crime scene or case file. You have the freedom to select your favorite nostalgic character and blend them with the newer 2023 cast, offering endless possibilities for gameplay.
The fanbase's enthusiasm for the 2016 characters has been evident, especially with the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters, which some felt strayed too far from the classic feel. It's heartening to see that Marmalade Game Studio has listened to the community's feedback and brought back these cherished suspects.
There’s More Coming to the Game!
In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new game mode called the Retro Rules Set. This mode, which is free to all players, harks back to the original 1949 rules, bringing a nostalgic twist to your gameplay experience.
The Retro Rules Set reintroduces classic mechanics that alter how you navigate the board and make accusations. For instance, tokens will start at designated spots, and Miss Scarlet will always take the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps in. Accusations can only be made while in a room, and Clue Cards are omitted from this mode. Additionally, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players, adding a strategic layer to the game.
To experience these exciting updates, head over to the Google Play Store and download the latest version of Clue aka Cluedo.
