"Complete Canker Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - Guide"
In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the "Canker" side quest becomes available early on, provided you've completed "The Jaunt." This quest is a great opportunity to acquire a mace or some extra Groschen, so here’s a detailed guide on how to successfully complete it.
Pick Up the Canker Side Quest
Find and Kill Canker
Canker's bandit camp is nestled in the mountains and can be tricky to find due to a narrow gap you need to pass through, similar to accessing the Hermit's house during the "Wedding Crashers" quest. Prepare for combat before entering, as you'll face several bandits along with Canker. Depending on the order in which you take them down, some bandits might flee, but you'll need to kill most of them. Fortunately, Canker won't run away, ensuring you can complete the quest by defeating him.
Finish the Quest and Return to Gules
After defeating Canker and his companions, loot his body to obtain the Light Mace, which serves as proof of your success. Feel free to take any additional items from him as well. Once you've collected the mace, head back to Gules to officially complete the "Canker" quest.
Upon completing "Canker" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you'll need to wait a full in-game day before you can pick up the next quest in the series, "Handsome Charlie." Simply talk to Gules once the day has passed to continue the storyline involving his former bandit comrades.
