Craft Gems for Epic Battles in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Quick Links
Boost your character's power in Dynasty Warriors: Origins with Gems! These equippable gems provide passive benefits, significantly aiding higher difficulty gameplay. Crafting and upgrading gems involves a degree of randomness, but this guide will help you optimize your gem acquisition and enhancement.
How To Craft & Level Up Gems in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Gem creation uses Pyroxene and occurs at any in-game Inn or tent. Select "Create Gems" (the second option in your room's menu) to begin. You can use Pyroxene to craft gems at a 1:1 ratio. Five distinct gems are craftable, with each Pyroxene offering a chance to yield any of these.
Initially crafted gems are level 1 and equippable via the Battle Preparations menu. Crafting duplicates of a gem grants experience, leveling it up and increasing its effectiveness. For broad improvement, use all your Pyroxene at once for random gem creation and leveling.
For targeted gem acquisition, try crafting single gems. This occasionally triggers "Eyes of the Sacred Bird," limiting the random gem selection for subsequent Pyroxene usage. While potentially time-consuming, this method increases your chances of obtaining desired gems. Note that "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" reduces, but doesn't eliminate, randomness.

Where To Find Pyroxene in Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Pyroxene appears as orange crystals scattered throughout the game world. Collecting a crystal yields one Pyroxene, after which the crystal disappears. Pyroxene respawns after skirmishes and battles, encouraging exploration of previously visited areas. Letters found in your Inn or tent room also occasionally contain Pyroxene.
