"Crashlands 2 Update 1.1 Restores Compendium"
Crashlands 2 has just rolled out a significant update, version 1.1, from Butterscotch Shenanigans, bringing back fan-favorite features from the original game along with new challenges. Let's dive into what the update offers.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
The new Legend Mode elevates the difficulty beyond the existing Challenge Mode. Players will encounter faster and more resilient enemies on Woanope, and Flux Dabes will be even more fragile. Completing Legend Mode doesn't come with additional achievements, but it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels as a reward.
On the opposite end, Explorer Mode is introduced for those who prefer a more relaxed experience. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing players to focus on activities like farming mushrooms, building cozy homes, and fishing. It's perfect for soaking in the story, decorating your base, and enjoying the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
A major highlight of the update is the return of The Compendium. Responding to community feedback, this feature tracks everything Flux discovers, from pets and recipes to items needed to achieve your goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 now assist in combat and have unique abilities that can be activated every 20 seconds. Gear crafting has been enhanced with random bonus stats on armor, and a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets have been added.
Quality of life improvements are spread throughout the update. Players can now build on more types of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the nighttime darkness to their preference.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store. The game launched on April 10th, and this update demonstrates the developers' commitment to responding to player feedback.
