Arise Crossover: Beginner's Guide (Beta)
If you think *Arise Crossover* is just about attacking non-fighting enemies with Shadow units to get stronger ones until you've run out of things to do, think again. We've reached the endgame and noticed many players struggling with progression, leveling up, and choosing the right Shadows. If you're one of them, this guide is tailored for you.
How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover
In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands offers several recruitable Shadows and a powerful dungeon Shadow. Based on types, **Soondoo is the weakest unit** you can recruit at the game's start, while **Mifalcon is the strongest**, available at Brum Island's end.
However, the key to power lies in ranks. **A Rank A Soondoo is more powerful than a Rank D Mifalcon**. Higher-ranked units can level up further; a **Rank D unit maxes out at Level 75**, while an **SS unit can reach Level 200**. Your ultimate goal is to assemble a team of four SS-ranked Mifalcons, but the journey to get there is where the real fun begins.
Arise Crossover Dungeon Guide
**Dungeon Portals** in *Arise Crossover* spawn every 30 minutes and stay open for 15 minutes. Even if you enter just before they close, you can complete the dungeon. Portals appear in various locations on each island with random difficulty ranks.
Start by building a team of **Rank D units** and tackle a **Rank D or C dungeon** on Leveling Island. This should help you recruit better units, including rare boss Shadows. **Dungeons are crucial for recruiting Rare Units and common units above Rank C**.
Whenever a portal spawns, **go for it**, even if your team isn't strong enough. Wait by the portal for others to join. Many players can solo these dungeons and often don't mind helping lower-level players. This generosity can help you recruit higher-ranked units. **Recruiting Shadows from dungeons is key to progressing in *Arise Crossover***.
We once got through a **Rank A dungeon** with only Rank C units thanks to a kind player, which allowed us to recruit Rank A units and reach the endgame. Later, we helped others with Rank D units through a **Rank S dungeon**. We encourage you to continue this cycle of helping others.
Arise Crossover Weapons
Currently, in the Beta phase, **player weapons are largely ineffective**. They might help slightly at the beginning, but by the second island, their impact is minimal. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the most powerful common weapon, costs 60m and deals 516,1K damage, while your units can dish out 200 – 400 million. **Save your money for future updates** unless you have cash to spare.
How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover
Every 15 minutes, a **wild mount** spawns, and only one player per server can claim it. A server-wide message alerts you to a new mount, but not when someone else claims it or it disappears.
Mounts can appear in **six different locations**: on the back of the main islands or on side islands between them. Check the developer's map for specific spawn locations.
You can't claim the same mount twice, and capturing can fail. **Flying mounts are the rarest** with a 10% spawn chance, **ground mounts spawn more frequently**, and **water mounts can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC**.
To get a mount, wait for the server message and race to all six locations. If you miss it, wait for the next message. We're still trying to claim a Flying mount. While mounts aren't essential for progression, a flying mount makes travel much easier.
That's everything for now. We'll update this Beginner's guide as *Arise Crossover* evolves. Meanwhile, don't forget to check out *Arise Crossover* codes for some free goodies.
