Crypt of the NecroDancer: Roguelike Rhythm Game Lands on Android

Feb 21,25

Crunchyroll's mobile port of the critically acclaimed rhythm roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, is now available on Android! Previously released on PC and with fleeting appearances on iOS and Android, this enhanced version, simply titled "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," boasts a wealth of new content.

What awaits you in the Crypt?

Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically challenging crypt. The roguelike nature ensures each playthrough is unique. Fifteen playable characters, each with distinct styles, await. Master the moves to Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack, dodging enemies and collecting loot – all while staying perfectly in sync with the music. Failure to keep the beat means certain doom! Expect a vibrant cast of enemies, from dancing skeletons to hip-hop dragons.

More Than Just a Port:

This mobile release isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have added remixes, fresh content, and even exciting Danganronpa character skins for anime enthusiasts. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. Furthermore, DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion is slated for release later this year.

Crunchyroll subscribers can download Crypt of the NecroDancer now from the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
