Within the game's files, there are references to lunar surface maps, structured zones such as the Exterior Movie Set and Drug Lab, and even a model of a rover. The Moon was envisioned to be a massive location, potentially as large as a quarter of Night City, designed as an open-world environment. This expansion would have taken players beyond the familiar neon-lit streets, offering a fresh dimension to the gameplay experience.

One of the highlights of this proposed DLC was the Crystal Palace, an elite space station. Though it didn't make it into the final release, players can catch a glimpse of the Crystal Palace during one of the game's endings, where V looks out of a spaceship window. Additionally, the files uncovered a prototype for a zero-gravity bar connected to a cut quest named "201," which was linked to the Arasaka storyline.
