Eight Skins To Collect
Prepare for a spine-chilling experience as Dead by Daylight unveils its highly anticipated Junji Ito collection. This collaboration celebrates Ito's 40 years of haunting the world with his macabre tales and surrealist art, bringing his nightmarish visions into the realm of DbD for the "ultimate horror collaboration."
The collection features eight unique skins inspired by Ito's renowned works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." The Killers stepping into Ito's eerie universe include The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. Notably, The Spirit and The Artist will don Legendary rarity skins, complete with chilling new audio and sound effects. The Spirit will embody Tomie, while The Artist transforms into Miss Fuchi from "Rumors, Fashion Model." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson will also get a taste of Ito's horror.
In an exciting twist, Junji Ito himself played a role in bringing his characters to life within Dead by Daylight. In a video shared on the official Dead by Daylight X (formerly Twitter) account, Ito expressed his delight and satisfaction at seeing his creations become even more terrifying in the game. "It was very moving to see that they had become even more terrifying characters after leaving my hands," he remarked. He even took the opportunity to play as The Artist, equipped with her Miss Fuchi skin, immersing himself in the game's eerie atmosphere.
Mark your calendars! The Junji Ito collection will haunt your screens starting January 7th, 2025, available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Get ready to embrace the horror!
