Dead Island 2's Patch 6 Introduces New Game Plus, Horde Mode, and More!

Dead Island 2 has unleashed its highly anticipated Patch 6, bringing a wave of thrilling new content. This update introduces a challenging New Game Plus (NG+) mode, a fresh horde mode called "Neighborhood Watch," and exciting additions to the Ultimate Edition.

Conquer the Revenants in Dead Island 2's NG+

NG+ allows players to restart their adventure at an increased difficulty level, retaining their hard-earned inventory, character level, and skills. Prepare for a significant upgrade: three extra skill slots, a higher level cap, new weapons and skins, and a terrifying new enemy type – the Revenants. These formidable foes are enhanced Apex zombies with unpredictable behavior and devastating attacks. The developers promise a significantly heightened challenge.

To counter the increased difficulty, all weapons in NG+ boast enhanced power, and players will discover more fixed-rarity weapons to collect.

Neighborhood Watch: A Unique Horde Mode Experience

The update also introduces "Neighborhood Watch," a hybrid horde mode and tower defense experience. Players must defend their base over five in-game days, battling relentless waves of zombies while completing objectives to acquire essential gear.
