On January 18, Deadlock welcomed four new heroes to the fray, and shortly after, the developers rolled out crucial balance tweaks. For instance, Holliday's ability, Crackshot, now activates on units and boasts a halved cooldown when doing so. Meanwhile, Calico's ability, Ava, has been upgraded to demolish objects in her path.

This patch didn't overlook the veteran heroes either. Kelvin now enjoys a boost in health, rising from 600 to 650, whereas Vendicta faces a reduction in bullet speed from 810 to 740 and a slight dip in movement speed from nine to eight. In total, this update fine-tuned 11 heroes, including the recent additions.

Deadlock is still navigating its closed beta phase, with the player base fluctuating between 7,000 and 20,000 online users. This consistent engagement underscores the community's eagerness for these updates and their impact on gameplay.
