Devil May Cry Anime Gets Release Date
Netflix's Devil May Cry anime adaptation finally has a release date: April 3rd! The streaming giant revealed the news via a new teaser trailer on X (formerly Twitter), soundtracked, fittingly, by Limp Bizkit.

First announced in 2018, the series, an eight-episode first season, is a collaboration between Castlevania showrunner Adi Shankar and Studio Mir, the animation studio behind The Legend of Korra and X-Men '97.
Plot details remain scarce, but the protagonist appears to be Dante, seemingly based on his portrayal in the first three Devil May Cry games rather than Devil May Cry 5. Interestingly, Dante will be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, who voices Nero in the video game franchise.
The most recent entry in the Devil May Cry game series, Devil May Cry 5, launched in 2019, marking a triumphant return after a period of relative inactivity following the 2013 release of DmC: Devil May Cry. A standout action title, it's highly recommended, especially for fans of games like Ninja Gaiden Black 2. Read our full Devil May Cry 5 review here.
