Pick Up 'A Good Scrub'

Your journey begins after speaking with the innkeeper in Kuttenberg about potential work opportunities. This leads you to Betty, the owner of one of the two bathhouses in the city, located in the southeast part. Express your interest in work, and Betty will send you to Grund to meet Matsek, who is tasked with bringing girls to the bathhouse as employees. Matsek is apprehensive about being seen, so you'll need to approach him discreetly in a courtyard and then escort the three girls at a nearby table back to Kuttenberg with you.

Promote the Bathhouse

Once the girls are back with Betty, she'll ask for your help in promoting the bathhouse to attract more customers. You'll work with her on a promotional spiel and then shout it out at various locations in Kuttenberg, including the grain market, horse market, vintners' street, and merchants' street. Make sure to do this during the day, as the timing can affect your ability to complete this task effectively.

Clean Up the Bathhouse and Finish 'A Good Scrub'

After promoting the bathhouse, you'll need to clean it up before the alderman's inspection. Timely completion of these tasks is crucial; failure to do so could result in the bathhouse being shut down, preventing you from picking up the subsequent quest, "Ill Repute," from Betty.

Finding Fleas for 'Ill Repute' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Upon passing the inspection, continue your conversation with Betty about the bathhouse's ongoing issues. She'll inform you about the city council's decision on the primary bathhouse, which involves sabotaging the competing bathhouse to make the councillor leave. To do this, you'll need to gather information from Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida about the councillor's preferences.

You'll need Chamomile Brew to spike the wine cask on the second floor of the rival bathhouse. Additionally, Lida will reveal the councillor's fondness for fragrant oils only after you gift her a noblewomen's dress from a tailor. For sabotage, you can lockpick a cabinet on the third floor to steal these oils.

The key item for the quest, the flea-infested item, is hinted at by Katcha, mentioning past flea problems in the bathhouse. To find it, head to the east gate of Kuttenberg City where you'll find a camp of beggars. Search the sacks there to locate a flea-infested blanket, the item you need for the quest.

With the fleas in hand, return to the rival bathhouse and sneak into the same room where you added the Chamomile Brew. When no one is watching, interact with the laundry baskets and pour the fleas into Councillor Naaz's laundry basket and the clean laundry basket to complete this part of the quest.
