Finding Lord Semine’s Sword in "Wedding Crashers"

Radovan informs you that the sword, crafted from the Hermit's Sword as a gift for Lord Semine, has mysteriously vanished. Although he doesn't know the culprit, he recalls seeing a suspicious man wearing yellow lurking around. Your initial task is to find this man in yellow.

As you search, you can approach anyone dressed in yellow to inquire about the sword. Most will deny involvement, but some might provide a lead. They mention seeing a man in yellow heading upstairs in the stable. Upon investigating the upper level of the stable, you'll encounter Hans attempting to charm a woman.

Hans, clad in yellow, isn't the thief, but he did witness the theft. He identifies Svatya, the bailiff's son and the bride's brother, as the one who took the sword. You can press Hans for more details about Svatya's motives or the sword's whereabouts, but he advises you to confront Svatya directly since he didn't see what happened to the sword after it was taken.

Confronting Svatya

Finding Svatya is straightforward. Exit the stables and locate the tree where musicians are performing for the wedding guests. Svatya is right next to the musicians, drinking against the stable wall. You'll notice he's carrying a sword, hinting that you might be close to retrieving Lord Semine's gift.

However, Svatya has already disposed of the sword. He confesses to stealing it out of resentment toward Old Semine's treatment of them, aiming to embarrass him by making it seem like he lost his son's gift, portraying him as senile. Svatya didn't consider the repercussions or the possibility that his father wouldn't shield him from theft charges.

Svatya reveals he threw the sword into the pond, lacking the time to hide it properly. This benefits you. If you previously danced with Myshka, she guided you to the pond. Otherwise, find the pond by heading to Radovan's location; the door directly behind him leads to the pond's edge.

Getting the Sword

Once you reach the pond, open the door, step forward, and look down. You should spot the sword in the water. Approach and retrieve it. With the sword in hand, return to Radovan. He'll inquire about the thief, and you can either name Svatya or sidestep the issue, emphasizing that the sword has been recovered.

Upon returning Lord Semine's sword and informing Radovan, the wedding ceremony can proceed. Make sure to complete any pre-wedding tasks before speaking to Radovan. After the ceremony, congratulate the newlyweds and move on to the next main quest.
