"The Division 2 Unveils New Season: Burden of Truth"
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has officially launched into its third season of year six, titled Burden of Truth. This exciting new season beckons agents to immerse themselves further into the gripping narrative, as they embark on a quest to find Kelso throughout Washington, D.C., guided by her enigmatic clues. Along this thrilling journey, players will uncover deeper insights into Lau's recruitment process and unravel the mysteries surrounding the "Cassandra" mission.
A highlight of this season is the introduction of the Rogue Momentum system, which revolutionizes combat dynamics by incentivizing aggressive gameplay. As agents defeat enemies and complete combat tasks, they accumulate momentum. While standard kills provide a modest increase, critical hits, skill combos, multi-kills, and eliminating elite adversaries significantly accelerate the momentum meter. As momentum builds, players gain access to enhanced abilities, including faster movement, quicker reload times, increased damage output, and heightened firing speed. At its peak, the Overcharge feature activates, dramatically reducing ability cooldowns, allowing players to unleash a flurry of devastating attacks.
Alongside these revamped combat mechanics, the season introduces a range of new weaponry and gear. Those with the Warlords of New York DLC and Year 1 Pass are treated to an expanded inventory with 50 additional slots. Standout additions include the exotic SMG Oxpecker and the tactical Exodus gloves. Furthermore, two new brands, Refactor and Shiny Monkey, offer innovative gear options, while named weapons like the Rusty Classic RPK-74 and Goalie FAL come equipped with unique talents, enabling players to fine-tune their builds to perfection. Available across all platforms, Ubisoft is keen to gather player feedback to continuously refine and enhance future updates.
